Rachel Armstrong RGN ONC DNCert MSc
I trained in Exeter. My Hospital based practice was in the field of Oncology and Haematology. I joined the Barfield Hill Practice in 1988 and became District Nursing Sister at the Southernhay Practice in 1991. I have since worked in both District Nursing and Hospice home nursing. My special interests are older people and effective case management. My current role is to care for people who have a long term condition and to help them to maximise their potential. I believe the key to this role is effective listening and good communication skills.
